Ah, well nevermind then.  I haven't read the FAQ in a while but I had to 
wonder since I can't remember ever seeing a video game fic on here before 
that wasn't a crossover with an anime.

Actually, video games like the Final Fantasy series are allowable as fic
source.  Have been for years (unless somethings changed, but I never saw
any notice about that in the FAQ).

Assuming they aren't allowed yet, doing so would allow fics like Final
Fantasy Whichever or any other game found on ff.net, none of which are in
the ballpark of HP, but still get quite a few hits to them.  Plus, the
majority of video games are much closer to anime than HP and Star Wars 

and

such.

I don't know how helpful something like this would be, but it's an idea
anyway.
