I have to admit, all this activity really warms my heart to see.  ^__^

I think I first became active on this list back in 1999 or so when I started doing C&C on DB Sommer's work "Shampoo 1/2" and found out this was where it was first getting released.

Unfortunately, while work and real life has claimed the life of my fanfic writing career, I do keep reading even if I haven't done any C&C in (gulp) years.

If the list is to be opened up to more than just anime fanfic, I don't see a problem with it.  A lot of excellent fanfic authors got their start on here, and this is a great (albeit occasionally argumentative) bunch of good folks.  So why not allow more people and more source material in?  The odds are that the chaff will get shaken out quickly, but the people who really want to polish their skills will take the critiques that come (and they will come) and improve.  I know it worked that way for me.

Maybe if life eases up on me, I'll finally get back to writing more of "Quantum Destinies."  And this would be the first place I would be bringing new chapters, since you all helped me a lot as a writer.
