Okay, I am not spending another hour reading the 666 messages I have (no 
joke) from the FFML regarding all this hullabaloo. However, I feel the need 
to put in my two cents as well.

I don't write anime.  I write originals.  Some of it isn't even anime-style. 
  I joined because I was writing a fanfic crossover, but when when I posted 
the original Lance McGill and I wrote, I got some really constructive 
feedback.  However, when I proposed to post adaptations of two Japanese 
sources (one a live-action film, the other Trigun), I got shot down, because 
the adaptations themselves weren't Japanese.  I can't stand Ranma, am 
getting tired of Sailor Moon, and watch much more Adult Swim anime these 
days - when I watch anime at all.

Now, OTOH Lance and I are working on an original, cyberpunk, kind of 
animeish (we call it "The Happy Fun Explosion Novel") whose plot depends on 
an alternate reality (that is where we're stuck), and I would be happy to 
post that.  We have rewrites of Lovestruck that incidentally are a major 
departure from the original.  And dude, honestly, I am a HUGE HUGE HUGE fan 
of survival horror, which is easily adapted to darker anime styles.

But yeah.  I'm sure there are people on here who write other than what Ms. 
Perry-Fisk referred to as "the big 5."  I'm sure there are people on here 
who write originals, and I will happily contribute, but only if I get C&C.

And I must respectfully disagree with DragonBard's statement that "Nice 
work" isn't great C&C.  It is.  It tells me something very important about 
my writing - that someone out there has read it.

Now, I noticed someone posted a Trigun fic, so I am off to C&C, because 
FINALLY someone has posted a fic on here from a fandom I actually care 
about.
