I haven't voiced much of an opinion on what should or should not be done to 
improve the ML yet, all things considered...

A lot of people want to expand the limits of fics on the FFML, but a lot of 
people also aren't prepared for the conscequenses of allowing Harry Potter 
yet.  So, in a bit of a smaller step towards broadening our horizons, why 
not allow video game fics?  I assume they aren't allowed yet because I don't 
think I've ever seen any, and if they are allowed I wish I'd realized it 
sooner because I could have been sending a lot more fics in.

Assuming they aren't allowed yet, doing so would allow fics like Final 
Fantasy Whichever or any other game found on ff.net, none of which are in 
the ballpark of HP, but still get quite a few hits to them.  Plus, the 
majority of video games are much closer to anime than HP and Star Wars and 
such.

I don't know how helpful something like this would be, but it's an idea 
anyway.
