Okay, here, try an experiment:

Post a Harry Potter fic here.

See what happens.

I guarantee it WON'T be "resounding silence".

Ah, but that's the obvious choice, isn't it?  Choosing Harry Potter is 
hardly a fair example, since Harry Potter fanfiction these days is 
practically synonymous with "omg crap."  That's not even *my* bias, since I 
have yet to read a Harry Potter fanfic, whether it's a masterpiece or the 
bottom of the sludge pile.  It's the general feeling of the fanfic community 
that I've picked up just from existing on the internet.  So yes, if someone 
posted a Harry Potter fic here, I'm sure the criticism would be *very* swift 
in coming.  ;p

But I suppose if the goal is only to create more list traffic, it's as good 
a solution as any.
