That's not a bad idea.  I've had pretty good luck with my own
webforum over on ezBoard -- I even host an area for other people's
fanfiction, and encourage posting of new stories there.  It seems
to work.
 

It has been a LONG time since I posted here.

A lot of authors have fled to the Anime Addventure and the recent 
addition of the Maximum Addventure which will handle non-anime subjects, 
as well as anime, is going to hurt the FFML even more.  AnimeAdd has a 
comment board, a chat room, and now a Yahoo! ML(which is designed to 
handle both AnimeAdd and MaximumAdd)
