As much as I love Ranma, I can't disagree with that assessment.  If the list was opened up to more fandoms then I know I'd take the risk again and begin posting fanfiction here again.  The only anime I've done any writing for recently has been Ranma, and let's face it - just about every story that can be told using Ranma has been done and done again.  The one unique idea I came up with was shot down right out of the starting gate and I'm not planning to touch it again.  Besides, if the list opens up for other fandoms, I'd finally have a place to post the Invader Zim fanfiction I've been carting around for the past three years.
