while there is probably a good story here, and a valid complaint, I don't
think that it's very productive to rag on the admins and blame them wholly
for the decline of the ML. they've been doing a largely thankless job for a
long time, and probably paying out of their own pocket for the bandwidth and
server space used. no doubt that has had an impact on their decisions. while
my personal feeling for them vary, i respect them all for their dedication.
and remember, all of them are human and have lives outside the 'net.
unrelated events can effect someone's judgement or increase their
irritability online, and the format of email is notorious for lacking
restraint. so cut them a little slack.
