THE SURVEY

A Ranma 1/2 spamfic by June "KaraOhki" Geraci

This story was inspired by last night's ice cream controversy,
and by a survey I took last night.  The question Ranma will
answer is the one I answered, and I found the wording of
the question bizarre, to say the least.

Ranma 1/2 and its characters were created by Rumiko
Takahaski, and are being borrowed, very briefly, for this
not-for-profit story.

"Are you all set, Ranma?"

Despite looking very uncomfortable sitting at a computer terminal,
Ranma nodded.  "I guess so."

Nabiki stuffed a wad of bills into her pants pocket and grinned.
"Ok then, have fun!"

"Fun," groused Ranma, as Nabiki's door closed behind her.
"What kind of fun is having to pay to do your homework?
Stupid teacher, stupid
survey."

"Welcome to the What Japan Eats Survey.  Click the blue
arrow to begin."

Click.

Ranma stared at the first question.  "What is your sex, currently?"
There was a box for male, and a box for female.

After carefully patting his chest to verify, Ranma clicked "male".

SPLASH!!

"Sweeto!!"

Crunch.

Onna-Ranma sighed, brushed dripping bangs out of her eyes,
and stared suspiciously at the computer.

"They better not ask me about ice cream."

Yes, the survey did ask me about my "current" sex.  Who the
heck wrote that one?
