I think you mean "paternal," not "filial."  "Filial" would refer to the
manner of a child toward a parent, not the reverse.

Made a lot of basic errors like that. Should have looked if over one 
more time. At least it gives people something to correct. :)

Almost a pity it's over, really.  This was a lot of fun, as usual.

% Only the second act. There's an act 3 after this.

I had been wondering if a continuing storyline was going to develop in
Act II, but I guess it's more devoted to character-focus pieces.  That's
okay.

Yeah, this Act served to advance individual plot lines and set some 
other things into motion. I've also discovered a need to cut back on 
everything I had planned. Just too many ideas running around and I don't 
have anywhere near the time or energy to do them (if i had won the 350 
million lottery that would have been another story). I'm going to have 
to think about which one to pick for the third act. Definitely dumping 
the Starlinesque story I had in mind with an AU Order driven 
Usagi/Serenity and her consort Adam Warlock, trying to take over the 
Avenging universe with their gang of cohorts. While it was a fun idea, 
it was just too bulky and doesn't advance the core story. I really want 
to finish the story, after all. Still, there's at least 2 more acts, and 
probably more, in store, though they will be shorter than Act II since 
they should be in a more continuing storyline vein.
