While we can appreciate kind sentiments as much as the next person, one
must remember that there are many hundreds of users subscribed to the
FFML. If even a small fraction of the membership started posting holiday
greetings, we'd be swamped with them. Do we all *really* want to get
1000+ "Happy holidays" emails in our boxes? I don't think so.

Since it's been a while since we've had this happen, I'll let the
perpetrators off with a warning. If there are any more holiday greetings
posted that are not in the form of fanfics, we will have to start
issuing tempbans. If you want to send out such emails, send them
individually to specific people; the recipients will probably appreciate
that more.
