Ugh, i hate that 'had since had' is there anyway to rephrase that?

I thought of "had been ___ of", but I couldn't think of anything to fill
the gap. Maybe "now had" and an appropriate change of tense. Darn
English language auxiliaries.

two uses of knocking in quick succession. I'd change one, maybe the
first to 'swatted'

Sometimes, titles for these mystery fusions are hard to come up with.
This one was pretty obvious.

Hmm. So Vash is a slave to the book?

In Konjiki no Gash, the mamodo have supernatural powers, but they can
only use them when their human partner reads the appropriate spell from
their book. In this case, the spells correspond to Vash's superhuman
shooting skills and weapons.

I recommend it if you have the time to check it out. Viz Media's put out
three books of the manga so far.

Just glad to have an idea worth writing for the first time in ages. Now,
if only I can finish that Azumanga crossover and get it published...
