I liked that a lot. It seemed so fitting, that this would be
the way Ranma would find his way into old age.
Also, the flow was very nice. We don't know who Ranma married
or what have you, but we don't realy care. We know about him,
the legacy he passed to his children, and how he ended up
after the whole deal was settled. You said what was important
and stopped there. Huzzah.
I also liked the personnality you put into the narrator. I'm
not a big fan of them, but you sidestepped the common problems
by making her a character, with clearly defined loyalties and
pains. Again, huzzah.
