Fallacies, if you are indeed Eric Hallstrom, author of RA:ALS, I apologize
for my comments (although I would like to suggest that you make such
clear, as well as the connection between this fic and RA:ALS). If not, I
would suggest that you try to contact Mr. Hallstrom for permission to use
his fic -- and that you attribute your source material accordingly.

I apologize. I should have attributed the segment, which as you note,
is copied directly from RA:ALS, by Eric Hallstrom. I am not he, and
there is no direct connection between this fic and that. The "ripped"
segments are not here for the purpose of plagarizism -- these are
simply bits and pieces in a meta-prologue intended to maybe comment a
little on fanfiction in general.

While you're at it, the final quote in the first section was created
by Brian Randall. Note also that the first lines of the disclaimer go
as follows:
