I am not bothered so much by the acronym -- although I'm pretty sure he
_intentionally_ chose it to match Comes The Cold Dragon -- as I am by the
following:

['Sometimes,' he writes, 'the difference between Zero and One is
no difference at all. Sometimes, the difference is all the
	difference in the world.']

So to quiet that little voice that agonizes over Malthus and the
overcomplexity of the human condition, then, our friends in the
business of epic fanfics unload themselves in gratuitous spews of
speculation on this fairy tale worldview.

	[*Shnnnck*, *ssshhpt*, *ssshhpt*, *ssshhpt*.]

The two segments in [ ]'s are taken from "Ranma and Akane: A Love Story",
the first is a paraphrase, while the second is a direct quote. Neither of
these segments is attributed. In addition, other elements of the intro,
and indeed the entire structure (alternating explanatory dialogue with
outtake scenes, the latter indented in [ ]'s) are taken from RA:ALS.

I hesitate to shout "Plagiarism!", but I really don't see that the author
doesn't know what he is doing and where he got said material from (since
the sound effect above is really quite specific).

Fallacies, if you are indeed Eric Hallstrom, author of RA:ALS, I apologize
for my comments (although I would like to suggest that you make such
clear, as well as the connection between this fic and RA:ALS). If not, I
would suggest that you try to contact Mr. Hallstrom for permission to use
his fic -- and that you attribute your source material accordingly.
