On 07/22/2005 09:31 PM, The Eternal Lost Lurker said:

"Condition number two," and here his scowl became nastier, "No more
'Sleeping Kogoro'. Understood? It's a miracle I haven't developed
some kind of terminal illness from all the drugs you've been shooting
me up with."

So I guess he won't be solving any more mysteries.

Conan sighed. "Dammit. I'm tired from being up all night, and I don't
really have time for them today, but..." Shrugging, he stood up,
putting the paper down. "It'll look suspicious if I don't keep up the
act, so..."

He ought to remind her to call him Conan.

Conan sweatdropped. "Ah...heh..." *Oh, wonderful. Now they've got me
trying to find myself.*

I guess it's actually surprising that didn't happen earlier.

"Ayumi-tachi came looking for you earlier. I told them you were away
for the weekend, and might not be back at school tomorrow."

If I understand, normally -tachi would mean more than one Ayumi, does it
mean Ayumi and some others in this case?

"I do believe you should refrain from such struggles and obscenities.
I would not wish to...get nervous and make an error."

It could happen to a nicer fella. Glad it was Gin instead.

The lab tech, a seasoned veteran who had worked for the Beika-cho
police for seventeen years, frowned suddenly. "I can see seventeen
matching points of comparison without even trying hard," he said. "In
fact, the match is much clearer than the Kudo Shinichi match--the
prints are the appropriate size."

I'd wondered a bit that the size difference in the prints hadn't shown
up in the previous paragraphs.

We barely met Chiyo, so I guess we'll see more of the Azumanga gang in
future parts.
