Interesting. I don't particularly know about "missing" something, but  
when the fic switched to Princess's point of view, the effect was  
jarring. I've been trying to think of how to convey the information  
in that section without the PoV shift. The best I've come up so far  
is to do something like a CSI ep; do a CIA operative's post-mission  
report (as I'm sure they'll notice and have someone investigate when  
their errand girl doesn't return), combined with flashbacks. Hmm.  
"CSI: Heros". Could be promising.
