Employment?  Since when is sending a book to a
publisher
employment?  

   Any kind of gainful employment--from working at
McDonalds to freelance writing--is not only unwise for
a high school student in Japan, it is also usually
against school rules in Japan, grounds for expulsion.
Especially at a prestigious school like Lillian
Academy. (The nature of Sei's indictment is right from
the anime.)

A trifle unclear as to what the teacher is talking
about. 
Is she indicating the name of the author?   

   Yes. Should mmake that clearer...

Mother Superior: Sometimes I run into people in

the

street, handing out pamphlets about the book of
Revelations.

(While there are Bibles that have it as
"Revelations" those
Bibles aren't the approved Catholic one.)
