A Ranma One-half/Btvs/AU Multi Crossover Fanfic



Prologue



    Akane was sitting in her room worried. This had been a very bad few
weeks for her. She had just discovered that vampires were real and she was
living on the a real Hellmouth, and she was some warrior called the Slayer. 
A few weeks ago then she would have laughed at
whoever told her those things. But that was before she had seen what she had 
seen.

*Flashback*

    She had been walking back home from The Silver, a resident place to hang 
out at, with her sisters Nabiki and Kasumi. Her two sisters had been out on 
a date, and she had went along to protect them from any jerks harassing 
them. Not everyone was as accepting of her sisters' incestuous relationship 
as she was.

    They had been walking by an alley when three - ugly - guys with
fangs and glowing eyes had jumped out and taken them into the alley. Akane
tried to put up a fight, but they easily knocked her down. Akane was the
only one conscious when they said they were vampires and she and her sisters
were on their dinner menu. Akane didn't want to believe there were
vampires, but when one of those things had lowered it's fangs to her neck 
she
started believing and yelled for help in a loud voice.

    Suddenly a gun shot rang out and the vampire looked surprised, then
it turned into dust pile.

    "Leave those kids alone you worthless wankers!" yelled out a voice.

    A man with blond hair, a leather jacket, and a smoking pistol
stepped forward.

    "Who are you to interrupt our meal?" snarled one of the two
vampires.

    "My name's William but, your kind call me Spike." said the man,
William, Spike, or whatever he was called.

    The two vampires paled and asked, in a fearful voice, "Not The
Spike?"

    "Yep." said Spike. "And here's why I'm called that."

    He put the pistol away and drew out a long wooden spike. Then he
rushed forward plunging the spike into one vampire while kicking the legs
out from underneath the other one. As the staked vampire dusted he moved and
staked the other one. It too turned into dust.

    Spike looked at the kids and checked the two unconscious ones and
was relieved to see they were still alive.

    "Your friends are alright, just unconscious." he said to Akane.

"Who are you? What were those things? What's going on here?" Akane
demanded.

    "First we should get your friends somewhere safe." said Spike. "The
night has many things in it that would love to eat them. They'd be safer
indoors now. I'll explain later. Tell you everything alright Slayer."

    Akane looked at him and said "What do you mean Slayer?"

    Spike looked astonished and said "You don't know do you? Nevermind that 
now. They need shelter at once."

    Akane looked like she was about to argue, but the man had a point
and it would be good to get them inside.

    "All right." Akane said. "We'll take them to my home. But
afterward you owe me some explanations."

    Spike agreed and the two picked up Akane's sisters and carried them
to her house. Getting them in was easy since Akane's parents were away
at a Martial Arts conference and Kasumi was in charge around here. Spike 
said they
should head back to his place and Akane agreed.

    Spike's place turned out to be a small apartment. It was in ok shape
but kinda small. Spike gestured her to sit down and she did.

    They talked for many hours and Akane learned about vampires,
demons, the Hellmouth, Watchers, and especially the Slayer, and many other 
things. She learned Spike was some type
of Immortal Demon Hunter with a powerful curse. When Akane asked him about
his curse Spike said he didn't want to talk about it. Akane saw in his eyes
that he really didn't want to talk about it. Akane let it drop then.

    Akane saw how it was almost morning and left saying she would talk
with him another time. She left and went home. She then went to bed.

*End Flashback*

    That was weeks ago and she had went back and talked to Spike some
more. They had patrolled together and Spike seemed to have taken Akane as
his apprentice. Akane was ok with that. Now that she knew the darkness
existed she just couldn't not fight it, she had to protect the innocent 
people
of her town. Akane found Spike to be a really cool guy. They were friends.
