Author's notes:

This story was originally written as an episode for the Anime Addventure
in response to a discussion about fusing Neon Genesis Evangelion with
Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time". After writing the part posted here and
a smaller Wot framing prologue I came to realize that the premise would
not work very well for the episodic choose-your-own-adventure style of
the Addventure.

I stopped working on it for some time, but now I am trying to create a
stand-alone fan-fiction from the small beginning I already have. Hopefully
I can gain some suggestions and constructive criticism here on how to go
about this task.

I have already dropped the framing device with the gleeman telling the
story and might abandon any references to WoT entirely as they don't add
much. My main goal is to retell the story of Evangelion in a fantasy
setting. Using WoT cosmology to do this is not really necessary.

I am eagerly awaiting any sort of honest c&c even if it is "Don't
bother." At least then I will know not to waste my time on this project.
