Kasumi, behind the helmet of Rising Sun, narrowed her eyes and then
grinned to herself. "So you set these boys on her?"

O_o;;

I'm not sure if having seen chapters I and II would have made a
difference, but I never saw that coming.

[This is for a "Shared Universe" of Superman Unleashed. Rising Sun's story is told all on its own (and I mostly only have her intro.)

"In today's news, Rising Sun put down a disturbance of the peace at
Furinkan High School. It appears that a student purchased an Ultra
Man enhancement in some sort of misguided attempt at improving
himself within the martial arts community," Ichiou continued.
"Another story from Yuki Tamoichini. Yuki?"

I must be missing something. If this is the same enhancement
process, it's been referred to by no less than three names so
far in this chapter ("Ultra Agent", "Kryptonian", "Ultra Man").

And as far as "Ultra Man" goes, does Kuno change into a giant,
kaiju-stomping defender of the universe? I know that's not
what you meant, but this *is* Japan we're talking about. Hehe.

[There are actually three processes, but to the ordinary person on the street, they all appear to be the same excepting how much power the person gets. As far as they can determine, it's all from one process with different settings.]

"Aren't guns hard to get in Japan? I admit, I've been out of the
country for a while, but I didn't think it had become as bad as the
United States," Ranma quipped while being totally unperturbed.

Ranma thinks that Mexico is part of the USA, but at the same time
knows that the armed crime rate in the USA is higher than Japan?
Possible, I guess.

[I thought it to be quite feasible considering how many bad portrayals and cultural knowledge each way.]

Oh well, I hope this C&C proves to be of at least some help.

[Thanks!]
