Is it me or are the G.I. Joe villain names.... silly?  Even for anime?

Apart from that, I think I have to agree with HTG -- unless COBRA uses
automatic weapons in full goose bozo mode, the NWC will clean their clocks.

IMHO Akane, Ukyo and Kodachi are at about the same level, and *they* could
take Serpentor.  Shampoo probably wouldn't even break a sweat.

What you'll likely have to do is finesse the bad guys' strength and speed so
that they can be competitive.  I haven't seen all that much G.I. Joe
fanfiction on the web (though admittedly I haven't been *looking* for it),
so you probably won't field many complaints about tweaking the characters.

G.I. Joe is around five months before the events in
G.I. Joe the Movie.  It has been a year and a half
ever since the episodes of Arise Serpentor Arise took
place.

Ranma � is three weeks after Ranma's battle with
Saffron.
