Apart from that, I think I have to agree with HTG -- unless COBRA uses
automatic weapons in full goose bozo mode, the NWC will clean their clocks.
IMHO Akane, Ukyo and Kodachi are at about the same level, and *they* could
take Serpentor. Shampoo probably wouldn't even break a sweat.
What you'll likely have to do is finesse the bad guys' strength and speed so
that they can be competitive. I haven't seen all that much G.I. Joe
fanfiction on the web (though admittedly I haven't been *looking* for it),
so you probably won't field many complaints about tweaking the characters.

First off any martial artist is vunerable to a suprise sleeping gas
attack. Then we have the plot to kidnap community leaders and thier
families and Soun is on the Nerima city councel (is that canon or
fanfic?). And in the teaser we have something happening to the
residents of the Dojo, which leaves Ranma operating alone (it didn't say
dead just gone.)
