FWIW, my local fiction archive has this listed as being by "Ice Angel",
because that was the name listed as an alternate to the E-mail address
when I first saw this story.

Listed as iCe in the fic, though the author may have changed it during
one of their many rewrites.

Binding Changes <http://www.megorga.com/>)

That site no longer appears to exist; Googling on 'megorga' finds only
links to it ,and going to the URL itself left me at microsoft.com/.

Well, I don't validate /this/ late in the game. I get the site when I
review it and just carry forward the link from review to review. Sorry
about where you got redirected to, though... (Microsoft's website?
[shudders])

Rabid Ranmafic Lover's perspective:
I don't think there has ever been a fic quite like this one. Sure,
there've been body-swap fics, there've been time displacement fics,
there've been altiverses in which one character or another is a
viscous killer, but none combine them, and none so well. This fic is
also rather off the beaten path. To my knowledge, it's never appeared
on FFML, it's difficult to find on FF.net, and it's never been posted
to R.A.A.C.

Well, parts of it have been posted to the FFML; it's in my local
archive, and chapters 10 through 12 are in my mail archive. The other
parts I think I got from elsewhere, although I don't offhand remember
where. (After a little more research, it turns out that - obviously - I
got it from the Website you linked above.)

Well, I'll admit that I haven't been on the FFML for a tremendously long
time, just about 2-3 years, but I hadn't seen it here, and I know the
author has posted a new (revised?) chapter as of March of this year.
Oh, well. I may simply have not paid enough attention.

HomerScore breakdown:

Out of curiosity, is there a theoretical maximum score, and if so do you
have any idea what that would be?

I /suppose/ that there would be a way find out what the maximum score
would be, but that would require actually having a set idea of what was
good or bad with Ranmafics as a whole. The score is rather subjective,
and meant as a guideline for the final ranking. It's also incomplete.
I started to put it together because there was a set of.../things/ that
always nagged at me when I was cobbling these reviews together in my
head. Either things that just irritated the hell out of me or things
that really stood out that were common accross several Ranmafics. It's
more of a personal guide that sort of "ranks" fics. I haven't put
together a "top ten" or anything, but I'm thinking about it. (I want to
put the whole thing together in a database first.)

I'm wandering. The point it, it changes. I modified a couple of items
on the list when I was reviewing this particular fic. Most of the time
I don't touch a review point, but if I realize something doesn't really
work, I'll change it.

OK, it's late. I'll shut up now.
