Can't wait to see what happens in chapter two, especially with the
cliffhanger in the second to last paragraph.

     I'm sorry.  I couldn't diagree with you more.  As soon as I started
reading, I knew exactly how it was going to end.  I agree it shows great
promise, but you read through it, and again, and you're left with the
inescapable conclusion the author was trying to say something, maybe
something profound, and you haven't the faintest idea what it is.
     I would suggest you try and match the characters actions to their words
a bit more carefully, the motivation seems completely incomprehensible to
me.
