Geez, Pete, the Waseda High was only an *example* to illustrate the

point -

as were mine. The original question is what I was addressing and what I
thought you were addressing as well.

   The research you put into your fics certainly give them a very tasty
flavor. :)
While it is try that a lot of that research may fall on deaf ears so to
speak, it
give stories more character. We are after all, watching, and writing stories
about JAPANESE animations, or manga as the case may be. So for those
of us that enjoy the extra details that you, Don Granberry, and others which
my memory will not allow me to name, a hearty thank you is in order.

   However, It doesn't HAVE to have such details to be a good story, though
for me personally it does help. No matter what details are in a fic, if a
person
doesn't have good grasp of their characters, and expressing them, and their
environment in words, all the details in the world won't matter. Fortunately
you
Mark, don't have that problem. :)
