Besides, with all the vehicles that live in that compound, it seems
reasonable that at least one shed or garage should have been erected for
them alone, if an outbuilding that could be repurposed didn't already
exist.<<

In that case, there's a shed attached to the back of the house, on the
side away from the temple building. But it's only big enough for parking
like 2 bikes. It's not a garage by any measure, Keiichi has to work on
his bike out in the open.

There's only one other building in the compound large enough to hold
people. It's on the opposite side of the temple from residential
building. It's never been used in the manga or anime, but I think it's a
storeroom.

In fact, these comments are the first I've ever heard about it. In the
material we both have, "mom" and "dad" are the only terms used.<<

If you don't mention their parents again, it doesn't matter. That's why I
was willing to let it slide.
Unless you have access to scanlated manga, you won't be seeing Keiichi's
parents in english until '06.

He sees a Lovecraftian monster in a 13-year-old-girl suit, about to pull
a >scam that will hurt an innocent mortal, and that sets him off.

The problem is, you don't show or mention that in the scene. All we see is
Doug changing plans without so much as a thought about it.

The consensus finally boiled down to, if she's a thirteen year old, then
she's a thirteen year old, and a mature metahuman adult male should be
able to wrestle the hammer from her.<<

If he could grab the hammer, I have no doubt he could wrestle it from her.
But he is no longer standing next to her after she nailed him with her
hammer. His sore foot and general disorientation should give Skuld enough
time to keep her hammer out of his reach.
