I actually did think about that, but the program kept on replacing them, 
and since the tm tends to be used in so many fonts or whatnot anyway, I 
decided to risk it. I thought the whole thing of sticking a (tm) by the 
characters' names was one of the things that conveyed the humor factor 
of the characters playing with toys of themselves.
