Yomi was panting heavily as Tomo reached her entire
hand in.  From below her long time acquaintance -
"friend" was probably too strong a word, she thought,
especially at times like this - Yomi impatiently
cried, "Hurry up!"

"Just a bit more."  Tomo reached in, savoring the feel
of the skin she was targetting but fumblish just a
bit.  "Ah...almost...got...it..."

Yomi trembled a bit, as did the tree she was leaning
on for support.  Tomo, in turn, wavered a bit more,
lunging for her target-

*snap* *thud* "OOF!"

When breath returned to Yomi, and she was sure she had
no broken bones, she sat up to find herself staring at
Tomo's rear end.

Tomo, in turn, was sprawled across Yomi's legs,
fingering the yellow fruit that had been her prey.
"Darn.  Looks like it fell too hard.  We need one in
better condition."

"Look," Yomi replied, "I told you we should just pick
a low-hanging one.  Even if it isn't as challenging as
taking one from the top of the tree."
