Marvel Comics has (had?) a gimmick called ULTIMATES.  Basically, these were stories centered around characters and groups that Marvel believed were the most popular.  Characters that everybody knew about (Cap, Iron Man, Hulk, FF, Nick Fury, Wolverine,etc...)

What would the Anime Ultimates Series be like?

Please help me by sending a list of what you think the "Ultimate" anime characters would be.

Criteria:
First names only.  No last names, no titles and no series.  If they don't have "first name recognition" they aren't famous enough.

Main Cast & Recurring status.  Ranma? yes.  Konatsu? no.
