    Ranma isn't living up to his potential, his main use would be as a
teacher, rather than as a combatant.  But as has been discussed, there's

no

evidence he's any good at teaching.
    As for Saffron and Rogue/Ashura, I'm not sure they'd do well against
canonic Rei (III).  The NGE universe operates on a different power level
than the Ranmaverse.   Like comparing Ranma and Dragonball Z.

Not to start a 'this character is stronger than that one' pissing contest,

but in the Jusendo story arc, when Ranma threw a 2 or 3 ton boulder at
Saffron and when the later was stunned by the impact, Mousse and Ryouga were
appaled by how weak he could take a blow, stating they'd received much
larger boulders thrown by Ranma with much less result.

Of course, your 'fic is using a Ranma plucked from earlier in the series,

made younger and with his memory mostly erased.  Before he learned the Moko
Takabisha, the yamasenken/umisenken sealed techniques, and in fact, probably
before he learned the Hiryu Shoten Ha.

Canonic Rei was inhumanly strong in NGE, but not on those kinds of levels.

A 3 ton boulder thrown at her wouldn't have bounced off her head making her
say 'Ow!'... It would have crushed her into a bloody paste.

On the other hand,  the angels, the EVAs, and the mythos creatures truly

are on a completely other scale.. most of them literally so, often with
immunities to normal (as opposed to magical) attacks, making Ranma's power
levels pretty useless.

    I was considering Rei's ability to generate an AT field, Rei III
generated the strongest field they'd ever detected.  Considering that the
14th Angel withstood a contact N2 mine blast, I am assuming that Rei is well
into the Dragonball Z power levels.  That's why I put Rei as more powerful
than any of Ranma's opponents.
