Replying to private email publicly is a no-no, even if this weren't 
the kind of character-abilities speculation that the FFML guidelines 
say to take offlist, which is why I did so in the first place.

The only other thing I'll say about it is that trying to apply 
physics to humor settings is futile, as we've just shown you can find 
examples and counterexamples for just about any position. I admit I 
should have remembered that adage before mailing you, and claim only 
fatigue and impulsiveness as my explanations.
