Okay, as has been said already, you've got some tense problems.
Also, don't reuse the "news report" verbatim over and over again. A cut and 
paste like that is just lazy. There is a jewel of some sort here, but it's 
really in the rough. Also, too many crossovers can spell death for an 
otherwise good fic. It's sort of like the recent "Batman" films: too many 
characters.
