<Anyway one problem I'm having is the treatment of the Tendos by the police
<I'm fully aware of the difference between the American and Japanese police, (I was in the US Navy
<and spent a lot of time in Yokosuka and Sasebo), but my point is if the police finally took action at 
<the  Emperor's "request" they would be very careful how they went about it with everything fully documented
<and demonstratively "above board".
<Perhaps a change so that the  "body cavity searches" took place in a Police Station and fully video taped with multiple witnesses...
<still within the letter of the law but extremely humiliating





Just want to say thanks for the many responses and 
apologies to the List for the misunderstanding.  I wrote that email very poorly the request I
was talking about was the original investigation/official action, the humiliating part was 
more of a comment than anything else...
