Hey all!
As always, I'm asking if it's okay to put up a fic because it's not *quite*
anime. But tonight, I'm asking about two fics. Neither of them seem very
much like they have to do with Japanese animation at all, but please bear
with me while I explain.
The first fic is called "Hail of Bullets," and is a trilogy about a young
man on the run, wanted by the US government for heinous murders. Along the
way, his companions - primarily an adventurous ex-waitress and two bounty
hunters - discover that what he's wanted for is not that simple, and that
this terrible killer actually doesn't want to kill anyone.
The second is called "Treasure of the Hidden Princess" (tentative title) and
takes place in France in 1310. A Duke's province has been conquered by a
rival noble, and the entire royal family slaughtered, except a rambunctous
young princess. She and her father's two top generals must brave dangerous
and enemy-occupied terrain in order to get her, and the wealth of the Duchy,
to safety. The generals enlist the aid of a pair of farmers, one of whom is
a mute with incredible fighting skill. But whether or not they make it to
safety depends on who can trust who, and whether they can escape enemy
troops, fortune hunters, and brigands along the way.
The reason I'm asking if I can post them here is because they are both
adaptations of Japanese works. The first is even based on an anime, but the
second is based on an old Japanese movie that only the true movie buffs on
this ML have probably even seen (then again, I could be wrong). So
basically, I would like two questions answered:
1 - are you guys interested in reading what I've got on these?
2 - is it OK with the Admins on this board, or does it stray (particularly
the second one) from what this board is about?

PS. LoveStruck fans need not be concerned, LS2 is being worked on, we are
still seeking an agent, but this is other stuff I've been doing as well.
