Be at least as good as Dogwelder.
I could look that up on the Internet, but I don't want to. *Shudder*
I'm looking forward to seeing how you portray Daredevil's lawyer
persona. Presumably he won't be quite as evil as you typically make
lawyers?
Not all of them are actually bad. I just like ragging on them.
arrest, for their felonious acts. You can be assured our clients will

suing for that as well. Now release them," the head speaker
demanded.
How can they be clients if the lawyers haven't met with them yet? I
thought there was something behind the ol' movie tradition of giving a
lawyer a $1 bill as retainer, so that they can say you're their
client. (Obviously pro bono would have different rules, but still...)
Probably right, but as evidenced by their ridiculous demands, this isn't a
realistic scene. Also there's the simple added fact they are working for
Hydra and are trying to get their men out.
"And no witnesses to the destruction of the property in question since

one could remember a thing," a second said.
A lot of this seems like stuff that'd be in trial rather than being at
the ready memory of the desk sergeant.
It would be. It was added just for humor and continuity's sake (It was
mentioned that the lawyers were the most feared branch of Hydra, after all.
^_^)
planned to do with the items in question. They had that American genius,
Reed Richards, develop a list of items to keep out of high-tech
masterminds'
hands for fear of them creating dangerous items from mundane objects to
facilitate said masterminds escape. The Fixer was forced to admit, the

really was brilliant. There were items on the list whose combinations

Fixer couldn't begin to fathom.
Heh. (Let me guess, Reed Richard put in a few combinations that
*couldn't* be weapons, so that captured supergeniuses would be too
busy trying to figure it out to bother trying to find another way to
escape?
Heh. More a statement that the Fixer's genious pales next to Reed's.
Alarms wailed through the jail as she led the pair of released
supervillains
down an alley and to a waiting car. A small flag baring the proclamation
'Itsa Great Pizza' hung from the antenna.
Why am I suddenly thinking Key the Metal Idol here? But I guess it's a
car and not a scooter (and the cast doesn't match up, and ...)
Nope. Just Marie. I thought it was a cute touch.
May scratched her head. Killing a superhero wasn't the same thing as
cleaning a room. It involved a lot less dusting, for one thing. "Well,
she's
my size, so that's not a problem. I have weapons Master Hiroshi designed

Hmm... for pest control, or to protect her from Pest Control? Either
seems possible...
Both.
Marie smiled at how easy it was to initiate the plan. The costume had

SORORITY SISTER: And now that you're through the initiations,
it's time for the wild orgy!
Not that sort of fic. I do too many lemons as it is anyway.
Anchorman Toji Yamamoto irritably cleared his throat as he waited for
the
light to turn on, signaling him to start his part of the report. Today
was a
bad day, made worse by the promotion of Akemi Shutaro as his new
co-anchor.
Ever since she had scooped the rest of the news industry with the
infamous
'Avengers' battle in downtown Tokyo, she had risen through the station's

No. It was 'redubbed' that when they had the press conference and gave
themselves their name.
eyepatch, and lit cigar being chomped on, appeared on the screen. "They
slashed our budget in half, literally written over a thousands of pages
of
restrictions on what we can do to infiltrate terrorist organizations,
and
removed any autonomy we had to actually do something. We can't do
anything
without a two thirds resolution, which takes months to do, and then they
complain about how we ain't doing nothing! Putting us under UN control
was
the exact opposite of what our original mandate was in making us
apolitical
so we can stop anyone, anywhere, from doing something bad!"
Are they under security council, general assembly control, or the
Secretary General's control? I'd have expected security council, and
am a little surprised that Fury would use the fairly imprecise "UN".
Most likely GAC, but it's been subdivided from there too, which is part of
the confusion and why branches of it have literally fought one another.
Akemi, who had remained calm during the entire encounter, remained
seated as
she turned to face the diminutive girl. In the voice of a professional
interviewer, she said, "So, what exactly is it you intend to do now that
you
have seized control of the airwaves?"
She's certainly good at this whole 'right place at right time' thing,
isn't she?
And doing the right thing as well. :)
A smile slid across Akane's face. What a perfect opportunity Kasumi had
left
her. A perfect opportunity to alienate Ranma. "I can cook for you," she
offered eagerly.
This seemed odd. Akane, acknowledging she was a bad cook? I'd have
expected her to try to mess up, and come out with a perfect meal.
It's part of the Thor in her. Divinity has given her the ability to see her
cooking is not good. Besides, she's not as interested in it now that she has
godlike powers.
The Wasp became concerned. "Will I be able to turn it off after I
beat you?"
Hmm. Does the timeline work out? If it was only set to an hour, and
Kasumi had had to take a taxi to make it in time, isn't it awfuly
close to going off? It takes a few minutes for word of mouth to spread
about a television show, at least, so there's a certain minimum amount
of time their fight can last.
It will end just as the device starts to go off. :)
The girl spoke again. "Now, Belasco, it's my understanding that you were
the
inspiration for the Devil in Dante's 'Inferno'. Am I correct?"
Always talks with his mouth full, eh?
I confess to never having read 'The Inferno' so I assume you're referenceing
that. In the Marvel Universe Belasco is supposedly the inspiration, though.
He was the one that claimed it, so he could be lying as well.
I snipped it in my zeal, but the crushed hornet was a nice scene.
Thanks. This fight was a bit hard. Largely because it was very limited since
their powers were largely the same.
Deciding nothing good could come from remaining, the Wasp flew away
before
the police could harass her with questions. She was tired, and the
fight,
while not being a total loss, wasn't a clear victory either, and the
whole
nation had seen her ineffectiveness televised. Had she fought smarter
and
trained harder, she would have won. It appeared it was going to take
more
than shrinking, flying around, and shooting at things before she could
be a
superhero worthy of the respect she had wanted.
heh
Had a bit of seriousness in it.
Kasumi had most of the air knocked out of her lungs as she hit the
floor,
Ranma's additional weight only compounding the manner. It took her a
second
to catch her breath and recover. As she did so, she noticed an odd
sensation
emanating from her chest. She looked down to see Ranma's head cozily
nestled
in-between her naked bosoms.
Unless you're trying to capture her dialogue, 'bosom' or
'breasts'. 'bosom is another collective noun for the breasts as a
single feature.
By bad. Should just be bosom
Kasumi felt her entire body blush. "Get off me!" she insisted, easily
tossing Ranma aside. Two months ago that would have been an
impossibility,
but thanks to the changes she had undergone, it proved surprisingly
easy.
Hmm. This Ranma is from earlier description 200+ pounds, if memory
serves. If Kasumi is that strong nowadays, that should become fairly
visible in her day-to-day life.
If she's not careful, yep. Her real life strength and durability has been
boosted, not to superhuman proportions, but high end normal human.
Good to see you're back in the avenging business. I'm rather eager
looking forward to more. You've definitely made me like the Fixer,
although I'm still rather hoping for more unpleasantries to happen to
Mentallo.
Aw, but they're a great team. And how many supervillains turned to a life of
crime because of Anti-lesbianism? :)
Thanks for all the help. it's really appreciated.
