Pokegirls was never totally HIS playground. They started here:

addventure. He had a hand in their creation and he was the one who wrote the
structured base for the universe (the story on which all others were based) but
he did not create the Pokegirls nor their universe.

Actually, that brings up something I wanted to question for some time.
It's pretty much a given that, should an author/creator request that people
stop using their creations in their fanworks, that most (creditable) writers
will do so.
It is my understanding that Sharp, upon learning that other writers were
using WH&P universe as a setting for their own fics, without his
permissionasked that they stop, until such time that he completed his
work. Many complied; some didn't.
My question: Should all the writers have waited untill Sharp finished (or
at least seemed to), or did they have the moral right to post?
Did Sharp right is asking them to hold off? These other authers were
writing fics set in another writers playground; isn't it an unwritten
rule that you don't do that?
