Well, keep in mind that I am trying to write something that more closely 
resembles a serious space opera rather than a sci-fi-ish anime.  Yeah, 
scary thought I know.  Several themes have been worked into the story, 
and more remain to be used.  By the 3rd Gen (AKA New Generation, AKA 
Invid Invasion), I fully expect this story not to be recognizable to 
some as either of its component parts.  Then again, some people enjoy 
that kind of treatment being given to their favorite series.  I've 
already sent one Robotech fanboy into drooling catatonia with a preview 
of what's coming in chapter 24.

I originally had a plot laid out that followed the original

Luceno (AKA Jack McKinney) in respect to T.R. Edwards (to a point). 
Upon consultation with a couple experts in military fields

learned to trust, I discovered that there is no way in hell 
that Edwards 
could weasel out of getting spaced, with or without a court martial.
