As I recall, there was a small groundswell of "Chinese Ghost Story"
fics here just a couple years ago, so assuming it's the same film,
that seems to be more than acceptable.

Honestly, though, I think this whole issue is ridiculous.  It may
be getting harder to define "anime" simply and succinctly, but I
think that, like obscenity, we all know it when we see it.
