Ranma, let alone the Ranma in THIS story, is uniquely qualified for the
position.  It hasn't been clearly established that he IS worthy of such

a

thing.  All we have is Eiko's word for it, and Eiko's word ain't worth

shit.

Oh, so a object of immesne power and age's word is worth shit.  Then,
please, tell me why in hell should we trust Usagi, or _anyone_?

...Sailor Pluto is a person of "immesne" power and age, yet her opinion is

quite different from Eiko's.  Who to trust, who to trust?  I said Eiko's
word isn't worth shit because of the way Eiko has been portrayed, not
because of its age or DBZ-rated power level.  And as so many people have so
loudly proclaimed, this story is still in setup.  Maybe, eventually, at
around chapter twenty or so, there will be some grand revelation of what
part of Ranma is valuable to Eiko...because his personality sure doesn't
seem to be it.

2 days, after max stress. Get a clue, kay?  And Sailor Pluto is willing to
let 6 _billion_ people die.  Nuff said for who _I_ trust.

Oh, and Eiko's qualifications for picking Ranma...well, sorry, but anybody

can write a fic, introduce a new character, and use it to proclaim somebody
the Great Lord of Extreme Happiness or some silliness like that.  To be
believable, it needs to be backed up; what are the qualifications, and how
does the author show that the character fits them better than any other
character?  So far this story has the proclaimation down, but there hasn't
been anything to indicate an eventual justification of Eiko's choice.

do.  And no matter why the Emporer is sparing Ranma, that he is doing so
needs to be mentioned.  It's not something that can go unsaid without
damaging the story.
