Living in a constantly renewed nuclear crater isn't a
very "real" world.  ^_^;

I meant real in the sense that it's the way things would really work,
given the character and the setting. No hokey "love conquers all"
bullhockey or "every innocent person must live because the magical girl
is the hero who makes everything right" attitude toward minor
characters. More like Shotaro Ishinomori did in Cyborg 009... if
someone's in the way, they die. If an evil cyborg smashes a car and the
good cyborgs can't get there in time, the occupants die. There's no
purpose to it in the story, but there's no purpose to people surviving
either. Things just happen, and that makes the story what it is.

Tell you what: if you want, you have my permission to
include this text in your archive as a side story, and
use her in your story as you see fit.  (Given her new
"job", it's conceivable she could wind up talking to
other magical girls.)

I was going to ask if I could post your story on my MGT webpage,
actually, but like I said, Brilliance's powers are not the type that
exist in the MGT universe. There are a few that aren't in the "beam
weapons" or "created projectiles" categories, but those are special and
the stuff of legends. Super intelligence and invulnerability... those
are too Superman meets Batman for my tastes. I just really liked the
feel of the story and the character. So it's not really a sidestory...
more an "inspired by" story. Still great writing, and hopefully
something that visitors to my page will enjoy.
