David, if all you can see is that the portrayal of Ranma in Relatively

So I'm nine chapters in and still doing setup. So what? I've have stated, 
publicly more than once, that this story is plotted to go roughly thirty to 
thirty six chapters. I'm writing a loooooooooooooooong story.

If you don't *like* loooooooooooooooooong stories, that really doesn't 
bother me one bit - not everyone does. If you don't like stories that 
require a lot of work and *thought* on the part of the reader to follow the 
various plots, sub-plots, and cultural contexts, that's fine too - not 
everyone likes those either. That is, however, what *I* like - and I write 
in a similar manner.

Not your cup of tea? Get a different cup.
