I wrote this in about twenty minutes at Anime Central and revised it a
bit when I got home. Watch for a few more stories from me later this
week.


Custom Trap
A Yu-Gi-Oh crossover spamfic

    Yuugi slammed the card onto the playing field. "I summon the Dark
Magician... in attack mode!" he announced. The intimidating hologram
appeared in one of the squares below, its staff ready to strike.
    His young opponent stared determinedly at the magician, seemingly
unafraid of the impending attack that would drop her Life Points to
zero.
    "Dark Magic Attack!" commanded Yuugi, spurring the Dark Magician to
action. The monster aimed its staff at the other end of the arena and
fired a bolt of energy at the girl.
    Finally, she moved, raising a staff of her own. Space warped around
the incoming projectile, pulling it back to its caster. The fold
enveloped both monster and attack, collapsing them into a tiny rectangle
of light that flew into the girl's hand.
    Yuugi blinked in surprise. "What... was that?"
    The girl smiled and turned the rectangle around, revealing the face
of the Dark Magician card. "That was one of my favorite Trap Cards," she
replied. "It turns your monster back into a card and puts it in my
hand."
    "What?" gasped Yuugi. "What card can do that?"
    Sakura chuckled. "The Wand of Clow, of course."
