Quotes are good for inspiration. Not so good for fiction. IMHO Jack
McKinney was the only one that got it to work, and then only rarely.

Old habit of mine.. I try to find 'theme' quotes for certain sections.

I don't really like the "Ukyo + Tsubasa = spatula induced concussion"
equation. Even in the manga (which Tsubasa only appears ONCE) Ukyo doesn't
go uber-violent on him.

Granted, but it's something I enjoy. And like Kenko, I'm playing up to
certain stereotypes.

Shuutaro Mendo was somewhat unhappy. He was well-bred, stylish,
talented, athletic, handsome, chivalrous, disciplined, intelligent
and wealthy. He was the perfect Japanese nobleman. (Even if he did
say so himself.)

This section needs to go. Simply put, what does UY have to offer that you
can't squeeze out of the current list of crossover titles? K.I.S.S.

True, but Mendo will be showing up later, for reasons I can't give at
the moment for fear of spoiling future chapters. I can give you this...
If the Nerima Wrecking Crew is the Varsity team of Nerima, then Gos is
becoming - much against his will, mind you! - the JUNIOR varsity.

And you can't have a team with just a single member. Hehehe...

Gawd, I'm evil.

"Saw the fight myself," chipped in one of the salarymen.
"Happened outside the new bathhouse just up the street from the
Nekohanten."

"Don't you mean the OLD bathhouse up the street?" asked Ryu.

      "Nerima," said the salaryman sagely.

ROTFLMAO!

Thanks... I really love it when a joke comes together. ^_^

Kumon shuddered. "And I thought *I* had it bad. Poor Mousse.
Are the rest of them... you know...?"

How exactly does Kumon think he has it bad? He recognizes most of the
Nerimaniacs, which implies he has a passing familiarity with their indiviual
histories. In order to compare his misfortune to the others' he would have
to be completely delusional, self-absorbed and....

oh wait, we're in a Ranma fic, never mind:)

You see, there's this condition known as Nerima-itis.. oh, you're familiar
with it already. Heh.

"Damn," swore Ryu. "Okay, note to self. If a girl challenges
me, ANY girl, no matter how she's dressed or speaks, whatever the
reason, use the Saotome Secret Technique first and worry about how it
looks later."

If ANY male cast member had followed this advice, the whole series would've
lasted three volumes

Yep.. there's something about everyone who has a contract with Takahashi..
there's no sanity clause. ^_^

"Tanaka-dono, I most humbly request that you review my petition
to purchase the NinjaBurger Franchise for Nerima."

Found the website, browsed the catalog.
A Ninjaburger/Ranma xover....
You are an EVIL man

Danke, mein herr.

Gos limped home slowly, currently in his normal form thanks
to a hot cup of tea from a street vender. At least he no longer had
to worry about street thugs. The kempo lessons Ranma had painfully
pounded into him had - to Hikaru's surprise - taken rather well.

When did Ranma start training Gos.

That occurs in a side story that Rob "Kenko" Haynie is writing. It's
about 30K so far, and seriously funny. I'm going to contact him about
posting the first draft to the list soon.

He heard a now-familiar sound from overhead, and looked up to
see a cute young girl with purple hair in a school fuku bounding
over the rooftops, chased by a high-tech attack helicopter. He
considered the empty thermos he was holding, then shook his head.
Atsuko would just have to "play" with her mother's employees by
herself this time. He had to get home before his OWN mother did
something deranged.

NUKU-NUKU: "Nuku-Nuku never use 'Atsuko'! Lawson-baka use Atsuko!
NUKU-NUKU SMASH!!!"

*SNORK!*

Damn, you made me spill my Mountain Dew!

"Now, now, dear, mother knows best!" Oichi looked him up and
down. "Where is your suit, dear? I saw it on the TV when you were
fighting that dreadful thing with the help of all those lovely
magical girls and demon hunters and other heroes.

Methinks I've missed a few chapters

Again, this scene is part of Rob's side story. Ranma (as is pointed out
in chapter seven) tracks down Gos, and decides that if Gos is gonna
BRING troubles to Nerima, Gos is gonna clean them UP. His mess, HIS
problem, according to the Gospel of Ranma. And to do that, Gos needs
a little more than a cursed form, and the instincts that come with it.
So Ranma's going to provide what Gos needs, whether Gos likes it or
not.

Ed Becerra.
