See? Now let this be a lesson to you people. Just because a series

initials

are almost identical is no reason to combine them. It just doesn't work.

Yeah, and while I can't speak for Hikaru no Go, you do realize you've
actually managed to improve on Jungle wa Itsumo (say, those initials aren't
even *remotely* identical, DB) by at least giving Guu a certain measure of
backstory and motivation for what and how she does what she does.  I enjoy
the show, and wish there was more - oh hell, ANY - fanfiction on it, but
whenever I try, I get stuck because I can't figure out what makes Guu
tick... or more to the point, what makes her go cuckoo every half-hour.

And while I'm on the subject, Hikaru seems a bit more restrained than Hale,
too.  Nice.
