I liked it. Sometimes some things were rather technobabbly but
otherwise it was a good chapter. I really don't have much else to say.
One thing--
I will be staying at the Azabu City
Hotel for the next several days and it is vitally important that you
..."
Sailor Moon takes place in Minato-ku, like Ranma takes place in
Nerima-ku. "Azabu" means "district" and "Juuban" means "tenth" -- the
tenth district of Minato-ku. This area of Minato-ku (in the real world)
is rather upscale. You can see a brief outdoor shot of it in the extra
features portion of one of the Escaflowne DVDs.
Ok.. red light.
1. There is no Azabu City, Virginia
2. Azabu-Juuban is in Shibuya-ku. I thought SM takes place in Azabu
(Shibuya-ku) not Minato-ku
3. Minato-ku upscale? I suppose there is a neighborhood or two. It's
mostly office buildings though... upscale tends to go to Azabu-Jujuban,
Hiroo, Meguro or Ebisu.
4. Azabu does not mean "district" Your kanji are entirely wrong. Azabu
means "canvas // hemp // hemp cloth // linen cloth " (from alc.co.jp).
So "Azabu City" is like saying "District City"...it doesn't make sense.
Regardless of the difference in meaning, you are right... Azabu City is
totally incorrect. Azabu-Juuban is a district within Shibuya Ward, Tokyo
Metropolian.
