Nicely done.
I definately agree with all your major points, and I've been many of them as
well.
There are many many many fics I don't read from this list, for a variety of
reasons. On many, it's a case of coming in on chapter 20 some odd, or
because I know nothing about the crossovers. In DB's case, I haven't read
or commented on his latest works mainly because he's a good enough writer he
doesn't need my rather inexpert help, and because I'm still of the opinion
he needs to stop wasting his time writing ONLY fanfiction. Same with Krista
Perry and a small handful of others. Fanfiction is great practice, but it's
not an end to itself. For someone with a good idea and a story that catches
my attention, I've commented rather extensively, sometimes even farther than
just commentary.
In my case, it takes something to actually catch my attention, because
otherwise, my time is going to be spent on one of the dozen or so other
projects I'm working on, from art to stories to computer work, and even
occassionally just playing a video game.
Yet I will be honest, I'm here primarily for c&c, and I'm not really looking
for praise. Writing is another form of art, and like drawing, practice is
needed. Praise, much as I do appreciate all the fans, does nothing to help
me improve the story. Don't get me wrong, praise lets me know I have people
who are enjoying the story, and it's for those people I DO continue to
write, but one letter of critical C&C is worth far more in terms of helping
me improve than a hundred "great story" one liners. I will apologize for my
own rants on this board, but I will also note that by writing my rant, I got
several extemely useful C&C's that would have been useful at some point
before I had written six chapters with no C&C that are now in the process of
being revised and expanded, and not being commented on again.
Now, lest you think this is a continuation of a rant, let me get to my
point.
ANY STORY I ACTUALLY READ, I COMMENT ON.
Sometimes publicly, sometimes privately, but if I read it from start to
finish, I WILL comment. Even if it's just a "enjoyed your story, and can't
think of any criticisms"
And I will admit to having ranted on extremely bad stories, as well as
having praised mightily, and I'm including examples of both as samples, just
to show I do C&C, and to hopefully encourage others to do the same. It
doesn't take much, but some feedback is better than none at all...

Humm... I would say words fail me, but that would be a untruth. In all
honesty, I usually review a work a chapter at a time. With this one, I
couldn't. It was flat out impossible because I was too wrapped up in the
story to do more than go to the next chapter. You've cost me a week of
writing my own story... and inspired me. This has to simply be the best
written story I've read short of the wheel of time.
Dear, stop writing fanfics. you're way too talented for this. Write an
original with this kind of flair and you will be a best seller. This
combination of adventure and romance would make a novel worthy of Foster,
Anthony, or Cussler. You deserve that kind of name recognition...
Just do me one favor please, before you write the next top ten bestseller,
please, please please, finish this story... I'll lie awake nights wondering
what happens next if you don't... I'll lose my job for not being to stay
awake after a few months of that and then I'll have to find you and whine on
your doorstep and give you puppydog eyes and look pathetic until you finish
the next chapter...
Then I'll have a lot of people mad at me for not getting my story
finished... please save me from that!

Cute story, and I can see this friendship developing.
However, you do need to get an editor. This could be a rather nice story if
it was less confusing who was talking. Having two or more characters talking
in the same paragraphs is not recommended.
Beyond that, while I'm not a Canon-Nazi like some, you do need to use the
correct spellings for names. It took me a few reads to figure out Konatsu.
You did correct it later, but the spelling seems to keep changing.
Additionally, Rink and Pink are not Amazons. If you meant Ling Ling and Ran
Ran, that's fine, but Pink and Rink are dire enemies of Shampoo.
Will have to keep reading, if I can get past the formatting.

Like I said, it doesn't take much.
