Actually, the name of Sano's blade was 'zanbatou', which translates
loosely to 'horse-cleaving blade'. The nickname Zanza was a coined
shorthand from his real, longer nickname: Zanbatou no Sanosuke.

The visage of Sanosuke graying was also odd to imagine, at least for
me. Bear in mind that Sano was only 19 when he left Kenshin -- he'd
have to be gone for, what, almost twenty years to have his hair start
turning white. But heck, some people gray young, I suppose. :P

Other than that, I had a strange, fractured feel when I read the
chapters, which I think would have served better as separate scenes in
the same chapter. Also, you might want to try rewriting a bit so that
the fanfic is a flashback, instead of Sano recounting everything in
front of Kenshin's grave. I don't know why, but it kinda struck me as
odd (again...) that way.

I'm a big fan of Sano, so I was pleasantly surprised to see a Kenshin
fanfic on this list, much less a Sanosuke-centric one. :D You might
also want to explain a bit on what happened to Yahiko and Kenji, but
that's just me.
