FOREWORD: This is a bit of an experiment for me, less a story than

readers
find it, if it works or not.
Oh, it's a story, all right. The fact that it's in letter form
isn't unique in fanfic -- there have been other such tales,
including at least one in emails between Nabiki and Tatewaki.
Oh yeah, I remember. But there are pretty many untold things in this
one, so I was uncertain how to name it.
PS: But if you go through with this anyway, I want first dibs on
reading them. Ive earned it.
It'd be interesting to see the above letter dated, to get some
sense of how long people have had to cool down.
Hmm. Will consider.
It may interest you to learn that my fiance has spoken up a lot on
your
behalf, by the way.
'fiance' ...interesting backstory development there.
Ye-es...maybe...or perhaps this is a further way for her to clarify to
Ryoga how extremely displeased she is with him. I dunno. It works well
either way, I think.
Cheers,
Ranma
PS: The puppy is doing fine, says Mom.
Awww... <snicker> Easy to mollify, was she?
I hope so, for Ryoga's sake; in any case, I can see her leaving with a
puppy by the end. ^_^
Thanks for the help with Shampoo.
Hmm, some more hinted business.
Yup. It just seems more natural to have things mentioned that are not
explained, since these people lead such active lives. But it's one of
the things I'm not too sure about - I don't want this to look *too*
cryptical.
Hey, don't stop now -- this is working!
It is? Woo-hoo!
You can either keep the
whole tale as a short-novel-of-letters, or wind up with a
narrative endpiece in the same way that 'Finding' is the
frontispiece.
That's an interesting idea. I'll think about it.
You'll probably want to get rid of that Microsoft punctuation,
of course, but there are filters around for that.
There are? Where? I tried using the links from the FAQ, but they didn't
seem to do a thing for my fics (which were already .txt files). I'd be
very grateful if you could point me to some user-friendly site.
Thanks a lot for all your comments!
