that makes people willing to C&C mine.

For me, whatever someone else C&Cs, has nothing to do with whether or not I
C&C that person's own writings.

2) My fics are so bad that everyone automatically deletes them.

I'll be honest, that except for a few authors, I personally delete just
about everything that comes through the ML. This is not because what those
people write is bad, far from it, I'm afraid it will be good.

You may think it odd, but look at this, I've got probably over one hundred
fics that haven't been continued in years, and are likely to be never
completed. either because the author has gone silent, or flat out said "I
won't be continuing this" or the like. I'm tired of it, and thus, I read as
few as possible. There in an exception in there however, if an author I like
C&Cs someones works, odds are I'll read it. This is how I started reading
Brian Randall's, and Donald Granberry's fics, among others, beacuse an author
I liked publicly C&Ced their works. So here's to public C&C! :)

3) This is no longer the FanFicML; it's just the ML now.

I have to admit that I've felt the same way as of late. I have to admit I
wouldn't want the admin job for anything, but there have been some threads
that should have been canned, in my opinion and I can, and have been wrong,
but were not.

I would greatly desire to know which of the above is true. In the
meantime, I'm going to C&C a bit. But if this trend continues, I will
have to look for another place to post my fics, since the main reason I
post them here is because the C&C I have received in the past has
HELPED me to improve them! As far as I have been told, that is the
purpose of the FFML.

You are right as to it's purpose, and sometimes I can be lax in giving C&C
as stated above, but I shall endeavour to imporve.
